Campers going into PreK-5th grade can enjoy a camp about the world of animals. Each week is a different theme for each particular group. For PreK, Week 1 is Birds of a Feather Flock Together, Week 2 is A Place Called Home, Week 3 is Colorful Creatures, Week 4 is Whose Hoof Is That? and Week 5 is Animal Movers and Shakers. For Grades K-1, Week 1 is Camouflage and Coverings, Week 2 is Storybook Safari, Week 3 is Artistic Animals, Week 4 is All in the Family and Week 5 is Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall Animals Do It All. For Grades 2-3, Week 1 is What’s Size Got to Do With It?, Week 2 is Habitattitude, Week 3 is Animal Architects, Week 4 is Leaders of the Pack and Week 5 is Animals Around the Clock. For Grades 4-5, Week 1 is Under the Skin, Week 2 is Conservation Heroes, Week 3 is Ingenious Animal Engineering, Week 4 is Caring for Young at the Zoo and Week 5 is Migrations Around the World.

Campers going into grades 6-8 will explore relationships of animals, humans and ecosystems. They will go on field trips, meet zoo keepers and zoo scientists, sleep over at the zoo and more. This camp is divided into two different themes. Theme A is Adventures in Zoo Problem-Solving and Theme B is Grossology.

Campers will mix, pour and combine all sorts of things to see what happens at this camp for creative thinkers. Has full day and half day options.

This kindergarten camp is all about animals as campers will explore exhibits and the native gardens of the museum.

Grades 5-6 will meet with the Field scientists and get to interview them, see collections up close and create their own hypothesis about what will be discovered.

This camp is broken up into two sessions. It’s either by residential camp or day camp and divided by grade. Camp offerings are in subject areas Arts & Humanities, English & Language Arts, Leadership & Services, Mathematics, Science and Technology & Engineering.

Ages 7-14 can design their own amusement park using Lego bricks and other building materials.
